Product Description
Diallyl dimethyl ammonium chloride is a high purity, aggregated, quaternary ammonium salt and high charge density cationic monomer. Its appearance is colorless and transparent liquid without irritating smell. DMDAAC can be dissolved in water easily. Molecular Weight:161.5. There is alkenyl double bond in the molecular structure and can form linear homopolymer and all kinds of copolymers by various polymerization reaction. The features of DADMAC are: very stable in normal temperature, unhydrolyzed and noninflammable, low irritation to skins and low toxicity. This product has two specifications: 65% and 60%.It can be used as cationic monomer to produce monopolymer or copolymers with other monomers.
Its other name is Dimethyl diallyl ammonium chloride and its CAS number is 7398-69-8.Alsoits molecular formula is C8H16NCl.

Product usage
Diallyl dimethyl ammonium chloride serves as a cationic monomer to form polymer series products through homopolymerization or copolymerization with other monomers. Its polymers can be used as formaldehyde-free fixing agents in textile dyeing and finishing agents, film-forming agents on fabrics to improve dye fastness; as retention aids in papermaking additives, making paper coating anti-static, and AKD curing accelerators; in water treatment processes for decolorization, flocculation, and purification, being efficient and non-toxic; in daily chemical products, it can be used as a conditioning agent, wetting agent, and anti-static agent for shampoos; in oilfield chemicals, it can be used as clay stabilizers, acidizing fracturing fluid cationic additives, etc. Its main functions include electrical neutralization, adsorption, flocculation, purification, and decolorization, especially as a modifier for synthetic resins, imparting conductivity and anti-static properties.
