The composition of pollutants in paint wastewater is complex, with high concentration of pollutants, high COD, high chromaticity, and high suspended solids content. The water also contains toxic organic substances such as phenolic aldehyde and benzene. The dispersion of water volume is large, making it difficult to treat paint wastewater and resulting in high treatment costs.
